Originally from Newfoundland, Matt has been treating downtown Toronto patients for over 14 years. His practice centres on complex spine cases, disc-related pain, sciatica, and chronic low back pain that hasn't responded to standard care, alongside concussion management and work-related injury rehabilitation.
Matt holds a position as an Advanced Practice Provider through Unity Health at St. Michael's Hospital, within the Rapid Access Clinic (RAC) for Low Back Pain, the program previously known as ISAEC. That hospital-side triage role and his Primary Spine Practitioner training through the University of Pittsburgh shape how every assessment here is run: careful triage, evidence-based protocols, and a clear path forward.
He also holds focused training in concussion and mild traumatic brain injury management, and in work disability prevention. Beyond the clinic, Matt volunteers with the Ontario Chiropractic Association, the Canadian Chiropractic Association, and the Indigenous Chiropractic Caucus. Outside patient care, he plays competitive volleyball, badminton, and curling, and trains in CrossFit and powerlifting.
