Yulexi earned a BA in English Literature from the University of Havana in 2001, and his early career took him through translation and interpretation, diplomatic work, and banking, but it was massage therapy that became his calling. He graduated from the Sutherland Chan School and Teaching Clinic in 2015, where he developed a deep appreciation for the connection skilled, nurturing hands can build between therapist and patient.

Since then he's worked across interdisciplinary clinics and a hotel spa, treating a wide range of patients with everything from acute pain to long-standing structural issues. His sessions blend myofascial release, joint mobilization, clinical assessment, and remedial exercise, so a treatment isn't just hands-on bodywork, it's a small daily plan you can take home.

Yulexi recently completed four years of intensive study at the Canadian Academy of Osteopathy, becoming an Osteopathic Manual Practitioner. His osteopathic philosophy, that structural imbalance leads to dysfunction, and restoring structure restores function, informs every session. Outside the clinic he reads anatomy, cooks, bikes, travels, and loves a good conversation. Fluent in Spanish, English, and Italian.
